A State Holiday? Iowa vs. Iowa State

Football season is in full swing and this weekend is the game we have all been waiting for! Saturday, September 8, the Cy-Hawk trophy is on the line in the rivalry match-up between Iowa & Iowa State. Here in the beautiful state of Iowa, everyone has their team. Whether you are a loyal Cyclone fan or a loyal Hawkeye fan, you have been excited for this game since the thrilling upset at last year's game.

Just like every other Iowan, you must have a special place in your heart for the fun you will have during this game. Whether it is tailgating with your buddies or getting your grocery shopping done in a jiffy, every Iowan knows this is the weekend of the ultimate rivalry game. Some may even call this Saturday an unofficial state holiday!
