Can I purchase a Delta Dental policy to cover only my child(ren)?

Yes. As parent/guardian, you will be listed as policyholder, but Delta Dental's flexible plans allow you to select coverage for only your child(ren). You can select plans that include the ACA pediatric dental benefit or plans that do not meet the ACA required benefit.
