Is my organization eligible for funding from the Foundation?

Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation aspires to collaborate with community organizations, programs and other entities that share our vision of making a measurable difference in the oral health of Iowans, especially the underserved population.  

Contributions are generally awarded to organizations or individual entities located in Iowa, serving Iowans, and meet one of the following criteria:

• are a non-profit 501 (c) (3), governmental or academic institution;
• are involved in projects or activities that address one of the stated objectives of the Foundation;
• address the urgent oral healthcare needs of victims of major disasters

Contributions will not be awarded to programs/organization for/to:

• Religious groups for strictly religious purposes.
• Lobbying, political, or fraternal activities.
• Sports and athletic programs.
• Projects that do not serve residents of the state of Iowa.
• Any organization that discriminates by race, sex, religion, color, creed, age, or national origin.
