Rethink Your Drink 2024 applications now open from Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation

Iowa schools and communities have the opportunity to receive a new water bottle filling station through the Rethink Your Drink program, funded by the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation. Selected schools will have an old drinking fountain replaced with a new Elkay water bottle filling station. Priority will be given to schools that have one or fewer water bottle filling stations in their building and schools that have a free and reduced price lunch status of 50 percent or greater.

The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation is now accepting 2024 funding requests for oral and overall health projects that help advance their mission to strengthen and transform the health and smiles of all Iowans. As a major funder of oral and overall health projects in Iowa, the Foundation typically invests more than $3 million in Iowa nonprofits annually. Grants from the Foundation range from toothbrush donations to support oral health education projects to large grants of more than $50,000.

Dental Connections Receives $450,000 Grant to Improve Access to Dental Services With New Mobile Dental Clinic

Dental Connections will purchase a new mobile dental clinic and expand the reach of its current Smile Squad mobile dental clinic program with the support of a $450,000 grant from Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation. The new mobile clinic will replace an aging unit helping to increase program efficiency and capacity by at least 15% over the next three years, reaching 1,000 new patients across Iowa annually.
